I met Orlando De La Cruz Martinez in the sleepy town of Loreto, Baja California Sur. He owns a popular restaurant bearing his name, located right next to the ice cream shop where he worked as a boy helping his uncle sell colorful paletas–frozen fruit treats. I set down to ask him a few questions about the life of a restaurant owner in Mexico.
